LASIK is a type of laser-guided eye surgery designed to repair issues with sight. LASIK is carried out by ophthalmologists, who are medical doctors specializing in eye disorders & diseases. Just some of the more regularly reported complications of LASIK include: infection, dry eyes and light sensitive eyes, over or under correction, fluctuations in vision, rings around lights, double vision, and disorders with the flap that was made during the surgery. Although LASIK technology is getting better rapidly, clinical studies have not determined long-term damaging complications. The procedure cannot be reversed.
