LASIK is a form of laser-guided eye operation which is intended to repair difficulties with eyesight. A number of the more regularly reported complications of LASIK are: infection, light sensitive and dry eyes, under or over correction, fluctuating vision, starbursts or halos around lights, doubled vision, and troubles with the flap made during the surgery. Although LASIK technology is getting better rapidly, clinical studies have not determined long-term complications. The lASIK procedure cannot be reversed.
