LASIK is a type of laser-guided eye surgery which is intended to cure or improve problems with vision. The operation is performed by ophthalmologists, who are physicians specializing in eye disorders & diseases. Although LASIK technology is improving quickly, clinical studies have not ascertained long-term or permanent damage. The lASIK procedure cannot be reversed.
