LASIK is a form of laser-guided eye surgery designed to correct or lessen issues with eyesight. LASIK is carried out by ophthalmologists, who are physicians or MDs who specialize in eye disorders & diseases. LASIK is generally preferred to pRK eye surgery, as it is less painful and requires less time for full recovery.
